I know this is a trivial question, but I was wondering whether it's common to see us girls carrying a wristlet when we're going to a restaurant/hanging out at the mall instead of using a purse. Thanks to the answerers! 
use a wristlet and just have important things in there like money cards and your cell using those huge bags are unnecessary
